Exciting afternoon of orchestral music highlighting our Young Artist Competition winners—Followed by our Reception & Annual Fundraiser

Join the Big Bend Community Orchestra in our 107th Public Performance as we highlight the winners of this year’s Young Artist Competition at Tallahassee State College in the Turner Auditorium.

Layla Peavey (flute) will be performing the Mercadante Flute Concerto in E minor. Jerrod Williams (bassoon) will be performing the Mozart Bassoon Concerto in B-Flat Major. Chiara Lemmon (cello) will be performing the Boccherini Cello Concerto in B-Flat Major.

Other music selections by Brahms, Faure, and von Suppe.

Following the performance, we will hold a reception and fundraiser. We will have a wonderful selection of items to bid on, as well as a raffle for Gem Collection jewelry.
