Randall discovered his passion for music at age 5 when his uncle gave him a flutophone, which is a soprano recorder for children. Within a few days, he was playing melodies on it. He started learning saxophone in 3rd grade and played his first gig at age 14. He started teaching sax and woodwinds at age 15 and began serious guitar studies at that time, studying Jazz and Classical guitar. He's been playing and teaching continuously ever since, including many different genres and venues throughout the US, as well as studio work.
