First Caitlin's work buddy asked if Your Scumbag Neighbors were playing Civic Brewing Co. on Moms Day this year. Man how am I supposed to know? I am retired.

Then the Seidlers were at Chris's birthday party and Elliot asked when we wanted to come back down and play at Civic. Again, I am retired.

Woody happened to be standing directly behind me at the time so I turned around and asked him. After deciding that some sort of Bill and Ted imperative to the survival of the universe type business is afoot (and googling "mothers day 2026" to find the date) I unretired and committed to Sunday May 10th.

I'm only telling you guys all of this because the universe made it abundantly clear to me over the course of about 36 hours that playing music at Civic Brewing Company on Mothers Day (Sunday May 10th) might be the most important thing I've ever done. Reckon I'll see you there.
