The Tallahassee Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International presents: A Benefit Concert for theater arts programs 7-9 p.m., Friday December 5, 2025 at the Palaver Tree Theater in Crawfordville. On Friday, December 5th, 7-9 p.m. the Tallahassee Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and the Palaver Tree Theater present a performance at the Palaver Tree Theater to benefit the Theater’s arts programs. NSAI Benefit Concerts are songwriter performances of original songs in an exciting “Writers-in-the-Round” format, performed by their creators. Songwriters appearing are Tallahassee NSAI members and Special Guest Artists. Doors open 6:30 p.m. Admission at the door is to support the Theater’s arts programming. Featured Artists performing at the December 5th concert are: Scott Drury, Ron Patrick, Dave McKenzie, and Ken Crawford. Other upcoming concerts in the series include: Lichgate at High Road Historic Site, Saturday, February 7, 11 am to 4 pm, in an outdoor family event to benefit repair and refurbishment efforts at the site, and 621 Gallery Space at Railroad Square, Saturday, February 14, 7-9 pm — a Valentine’s Day Concert of Original Love Songs” to benefit the gallery’s arts education programs. Additional benefit concert performances in this series are now in planning for 2026. The Tallahassee Chapter of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) is a member group of the Council on Culture and Arts (COCA) the official arts agency of Tallahassee and Leon County. The Chapter has begun a community-wide outreach of benefit concerts to assist not-for-profit organizations serving local residents. Since January, 2025, they have staged successful events that helped bring help to social services, arts and cultural organizations in the area.
