For 40 years, Mas 'n' Steel as been showcasing the steelpan, Trinidad's national instrument, to the Tallahassee community. Members of FSU's steelband will celebrate the pan's history and culture rooted in Trinidad and Tobago, while noting its consistent reaches into other musical genres. This evening will feature calypso, soca, chutney, reggae, and parang tunes, as well as funk, yacht rock, disco, and an assortment of holiday arrangements.
