St. Thomas More

A French Boys Choir will give a concert at the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More at 7 p.m. Friday, July 18. The young globetrotters, les Petits Chanteurs France, have been singing and traveling in France and all over the world for 10 years. The institution gives young boys an experience of life through singing and group life, and traveling in various countries to discover different cultures. They regularly give concerts of the repertoire (Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria, etc.) in prestigious places, and also sing for humanitarian causes. The group will be on tour in Florida and Alabama in July 2025. They will offer concerts including music from the 16th century to the present day, patriotic songs - and the well known Hallelujah from Handel, Ave Maria from Gounod, as well as music pieces of the French folklores and patriotic songs. This choir of 18 boys and teenagers, from 9 to 18 years old, is conducted by Veronique Thomassin-Olivier.
