For all that swelter and sweat, the relief of man made ice and air conditioning is to be celebrated as well as the man responsible for these human achievements. Having migrated from the late, great Waterworks stage, we are honored to commemorate Dr. John Gorrie with our "Celebration of Ice!" performed on our stage, a short reenactment of Dr. Gorrie introducing his unheard of device, the first ice machine, at an Apalachicola Bastille Day in 1850. Enjoy a specialty of the house, which also migrated from the late-great Waterworks: the CAPRI sandwich, made just right by our wonderful chef Donald Moses! FREE admission Stick around for some beautiful Armenian music by Danny Bedrosian starting at 8pm. ($10 cover after 7 if you want to stay for the show)
