Blue Darlin’ brings the warmth and soul of traditional Appalachia to life. Julius Bjornson (fiddle, guitar) and Jessica Bellaire (banjo) bonded over their love for old tunes and traditional harmony singing when they met at a festival in rural West Virginia. Now, they share that connection with audiences, bringing a mix of timeless country songs, generations-old Gospel tunes, and contemporary interpretations of "Old Time" Appalachian fiddle tunes to the stage. Jessica Bellaire is a singer, dancer, and the 2024 Florida Old Time Banjo champion. She is a lifetime musician who found her passion for old-time and Gospel in college. Julius Bjornson has held a fiddle since he was six, and grew up busking on street corners. He began playing guitar and singing as a teenager and has traveled to perform with groups across the US, Europe, and Asia. Together, they create a sound that is both timeless and intimate - rooted in tradition, yet full of life.
