Big Bend Community Orchestra: Fall Concert takes places at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in Lee Hall Auditorium for an afternoon of classical works celebrating 100 years of Gershwin’s "Rhapsody in Blue." Repertoire also includes: Kirkpatrick, Chadwick, Bizet and Dvorak. Featured performers will be Dr. Joanna Sobkowska-Parsons on piano and Julian White, II on trumpet. Other works include the Legends by Dvorak, Symphonic Sketches by Chadwick and L’Arlésienne by Bizet.
