FISH CAMP is going pink to benefit patients of the Walker Breast Program at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare! You can join the fight from 1 to 6 pm, Sunday, Oct. 20, at FISH CAMP on Lake Iamonia, 12062 Waterfront Drive, in Northeast Tallahassee. We’ll have live music by STIMULUS PACKAGE, an auction, and a raffle, all benefiting LOCAL patients. And don’t forget to order our signature drink, PINK HOPE! $5 from each purchase will be donated to help patients through the TMH Foundation. All proceeds stay in our community to support patients who come to TMH from throughout the region. Here are a few ways your support makes a difference: A PET scan, which alerts doctors to areas of abnormal cell growth in the body, costs more than $1,800. Donations are used to ease the burden for patients in financial need. Some patients must travel long distances to Tallahassee for treatment. Community generosity provides gas cards, car rides and lodging for patients and their caregivers. In 2023, the TMH Foundation gave $2 million, thanks to the generosity of donors, toward the purchase of a Varian Edge Linear Accelerator for the Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center. The Varian Edge offers the latest advancements in radiation, delivering radiation faster and with more precision, minimizing risks and side effects for patients. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer. Help us ease the burdens of treatment for patients in our community.
