It's official: Hickory Preserve, with the support of our donors, has finally purchased the 97 acres we have been working hard to save for the last year and a half. Join us to celebrate and learn about our ongoing efforts to pay off and conserve the land. We will be celebrating at the Miccosukee Land Co-op Community Center on the afternoon of Sunday, January 19th from 2pm-5pm. We will have live music by the Bunny Bread Bandits, delicous vegan and chicken paella made fresh on-site, and tours of the Hickory Preserve land offered via RSVP from 1-3pm. (More info below.) This is a free event for community members of all ages. Whether you're a long time supporter, generous donor, or just learning about our efforts for the first time, we'd love for you to join us! Guided tours of the land will be offered between 1pm and 3pm, with the celebration beginning at 2pm. If you are interested in taking a guided tour, please let us know in your registration form and we will reach out to schedule your time slot and provide more information.
