You will love Passerine’s unique and ever-evolving version of Americana music, which occupies a zone somewhere between modern folk, progressive bluegrass, and what is loosely called “Americana.” Founded by Singer/songwriter Carmela Pedicini (“Radio-Free Carmela and the Transmitters”) and David Brain (Dobro), they recruited violinist Sara Stovall – who has stretched her wings as a vocalist and a songwriter in her own right – and Doug Conroy (bass, vocals) – who earned his Passerine wings on their 6,000 mile “Northern Loon” tour.
