June may be Pride Month, but the Mickee Faust Club, known for its non-conformity and persistence in promoting often-unheard voices, is carrying Pride into July with Jennifer Lamont’s "Sapphism in Song," featuring English Art Songs by LGBTQ+ Women Composers from 1900 to the present. Lamont is a recent graduate of FSU’s College of Music with a major in Voice Performance. The Mickee Faust Club invited Lamont to present "Sapphism in Song" as part of its 17th Queer as Faust Festival with an educational outreach show free to teachers and students at 7 p.m. Friday. The performance is at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at First Presbyterian Church, 110 N. Adams St. Tickets are $10. Visit mickeefaust.com.
